Plastic pollution is one of the most serious environmental issues of our time. It is the result of the accumulation of plastic waste in the environment, which does not biodegrade and persists for a long time. Plastic waste can be found everywhere, from landfills to oceans, from mountains to deserts, from cities to remote islands. Did you know? Plastic Pollution is a global problem. Approximately 7 billion of the 9.2 billion tonnes of plastic produced from 1950-2017 became plastic waste, ending up in landfills or dumped. Plastic waste is ubiquitous. Its literally everywhere it’s in the air, in the soil, in freshwater, and in the sea.
I walk here, I walk there, All I see is plastic everywhere! 😔☹😡😥
