After successful years of contests and campaigns to celebrate the World Environment Day, again Rolling Nature is here to create awareness among people in India with "Plantfie FB Contest" and "Say No to Artificial Plants Campaign". Previous years campaigns, such as "Share a Plant Campaign" (2014, Plant Distribution Drive), "Green Living Campaign" in asssociation with Tigo (2015, Recycle Waste in Exchange of Plants), "Green Pune Campaign" in association with OLA (2016, Plant Distribution Drive) and "Connect with Nature Campaign" (2017). To add more we had successful " Green Moment" FB contest in 2014 and other such contests every year. This year we expect again a great response and are proud to spread awareness for environmental responsibility in the country.
We insist everyone to encourage 4 R S. REFUSE disposable plastic whenever and wherever possible. Choose items that are not packaged in plastic, and carry your own bags, containers and utensils. REDUCE your plastic footprint. Cut down on your consumption of goods that contain excessive plastic packaging and parts. If it will leave behind plastic trash, don't buy it. REUSE durable, non-toxic straws, utensils, to-go containers, bottles, bags, and other everyday items. Choose glass, paper, stainless steel, wood, ceramic and bamboo over plastic. RECYCLE what you can’t refuse, reduce or reuse. Pay attention to the entire life cycle of items you bring into your life, from source to manufacturing to distribution to disposal.
The Plantfie Contest Details:
Participants will have to like our FB page and post a selfie with plants. Participants will stand a chance to win beautiful live indoor plants in exquisite pots from Rolling Nature. The contest ends on 10th June, 2018. There’s no limit to entries. The contestants can share and spread a word about the contest. Tag the images with #plantfierollingnature #WorldEnvironmentDay. You can also send across a message in the comments with the selfie/image. The winners will be announced on 20th June and will be contacted through facebook. This year’s theme for world environment day is “Beat Plastic Pollution”. We are spreading awareness to avoid artificial plants instead using the real ones which have plenty of benefits. We will be distributing plants on 5th, June in Pune and create awareness about Plastic Pollution and its impacts. We also call upon all organisations to step up and join this movement.
